We’ve broke down!

The car may or may not be broke.We believe its the steering belt, but what do we know. Nothing.

Fortunately we had elected to spend 35 pounds each on break down cover….

It took three hours for the AA (In Deutschland ADAC) to arrive and after the mechanic taking a quick look under the bonnet we we’re told that its fine to drive to Berlin - it’ll just be a little difficult to steer. We told him that we were actually going to Nottingham, England and demonstrated the ludicrous noise the car was now making, and he promptly disclaimed “Kaput” and put the beast onto his tow truck.

Off to a German hotel tonight - the beast is in some nondescript garage with the alarm going off.
