The Car
The car is home.
Well the car has finally arrived home and as you can see it was bought back in a fantastic style.
A big thank you to the recovery driver Phil who went all the way to Germany where we broke down to travel and pick the car up for us.
As the car goes through it’s returning home ceremony I start to wonder there where in the world it has been since we left it, and weather its precious cargo of Swiss lighters remains intact!
As the car rolls into it’s final resting position, and I realise that the Swiss lighters are still in the car, a question enters my head. What the bloody hell made me want to drive three thousand miles across Europe in a big red truck that says THIS IS SPARTA down one side!This is a question that will go around in my head for a very long time. The only answers i have come up with so far are beer, stupidity, more beer and crazy friends! However if you ask me if i would do it all again…….
Damn Right I Would!!!!!

Regarding next year - McPete and myself are already planning. I have a feeling that the AA wont be insuring us though.

We’re doing some updates to motoscape site and forum at the minute to freshen it up for next years rallies, and we’ll definitely leave a link on to your website so future participants can get some ideas from what you’ve done. It should all be live Monday, so check it out.

Motoscape Rally
Nice video guys - some definately memorable shit there. We’re planning on trying to cut together some of the video we took during the rally, there was about 2 hours or so, a lot of it painfully dull. Theres quite a lot of footage of you guys in the frontera taken from the subaru, including a lot during the davos/stelvio pass and some of your brakes burning if you want a look at any point.
having This Is Sparta down one side is one thing, bit I think Astley.GiveUUp=False was slightly more concerning…
