Today was a LONG day. We had 360 miles to drive through some pretty uninspiring terrain. Rob took the first 4 hours driving and McPete took over for the remaining 4 1/2. The drive through Austria was quite uneventful but as we approached Wien (Vienna) the roads took a turn for the worse - and the drivers are quite literally crazy.
We got stopped at the border for the first time because we didn’t have our lights on but after a quick look through our paper work we were on our way again. We’re all getting quite tired now (and drinking until half two hasn’t helped) but tomorrow is the last day as we head into Poland. Not sure what the plan is for tomorrow but we think everyone may be calling into Auschwitz on the way.
so? did you win?
Look, like I keep tellin Carl, Auschwitz is not a drive-thru.
The ribs they got, you don’t want!
Si mate, you have a warped and twisted mind like no other I have had the pleasure of knowing.
We didn’t bother with the ribs, we had pizza instead. And a hot dog.
